Northwest Connecticut White Nationalist Dave Ragozzine got arrested last week for threatening to “kill everyone” at a preschool in Canton, CT. Reportedly, he called the preschool where his wife works and threatened them for “interfering with his marriage”. This isn’t the first time that he has threatened the preschool, one employee said “Ragozzine has made threatening comments to her before stating he would kill her, her family, and her loved ones and nothing could stop him because he was Hitler reincarnated.”
Ragozzine has been an above-ground nazi for a several years who operates a number of different facebook sock accounts, all of which have broad ties to white nationalists. He is easy to spot in his grey suv (pictured) which often bears a “kekistan” flag (a well-known parody of a nazi flag), as well as a “no step on snek” and “/pol” sticker (with a version of the Identity Europa image). Ragozzine lives in Winchester, CT in the Mountain View Terrace apartment complex, and owns a shitty little bait shop in Winchester called Still River Outfitters (58 Main St.). His regular racist rants on social media were enough to get him removed from the “CT Conservatives” facebook page, where they prefer their racism to be a bit more coded than his brand of open cheerleading for a new holocaust.
This also isn’t the first time he’s been arrested for threatening violence. He was arrested in 2016 for a youtube rant in which he told his viewers that “now is the time to go out and kill liberals” and encouraged people watching to “assassinate Bill Ayers and Noam Chomsky”. He was also arrested in 2014 for threatening to kill then Connecticut governor Dan Malloy.
While we don’t believe that Ragozzine is an active member of a white nationalist organization in Connecticut, he is exactly the type of angry lone-wolf nazi like Dylan Roof that is a real danger to our communities. Please be aware if you or anyone that you know are in proximity to this guy that he’s a racist powder-keg waiting to go off. Please take steps to protect yourself and your neighbors. The worst part of all of this is that he has young daughter and a wife who may also be in danger.
